What does Special Order mean?
Special order is our catch-all term for out of stock. In some instances it means we are temporarily out of an item, and in others it means there are no more to be had. Often, we have similar items in the gallery that aren't shown on the web site. Your best bet is to call us or send us an email to check on a particular item. We can usually tell you if and when items will be available and get you their current prices.

Prices on special order items are subject to change from the price listed on the website.

Variations
These glass vases, blown glass, engraved glass, and paperweights all have the variations one would expect to encounter in handmade works of art.

Photographs
The majority of the items we carry are one-of-a-kind works of art. For instance, no two Josh Simpson paperweights are the same. So, in those cases, the photograph we provide is of the unique item that is available. Other items, like some of the kaleidoscopes, the dichroic cubes, and some of the simpler vases are made in quantity (still by hand) but with very little variation. In those cases, the photograph we provide is of an example of the item. In every case, we try to give you the most accurate illustration possible.
