The artist tell us these three colors here are heliotrope, hyacinth, and red amber. That recipe alone tells us we are in for a great treat. Then he adds that the surface has been carved into a geographic design of furrows and ridges. Well, here is the wonderous result.

The base has been ground flat, given a matte finish, and is signed and dated.
