Steve Smyers stopped working in iridescent glass in the mid-Seventies, but oh, what a beautiful legacy he left behind. This is a soft creamy yellow weight with soft green and brown trailed figures in a trefoil pattern that is yet another great example of Steve's artful imagination. The pulled and trailed decoration is clear, complex, and a delight to behold. The gold bands interspersed between the swirls yellow and brown catch light no matter where the weight is placed. This weight is just one more reason Steve's work is so widely collected.
