This example of Steve's paperweights from the 1970s starts with a creamy white core that turns pale yellow in the iridization process. Overlaying the core is a four-lobed gold and deep earth/brown pulled and trailed motif that really shines. This eye-catching weight is yet another great example of Steve's artful imagination. The pulled and trailed decoration is clear, complex, and a delight to behold. The reflective gold bands catch light no matter where the weight is placed. This weight is just one more reason Steve's work is so widely collected.
