The barrel is silky smooth, and looks just great sitting on its matching stand. The scope has two free spinning wheels. The photograph gives just a hint about what you see when you look inside. The colors are rich, rich, rich, and the image is sharp and bright. This is a three mirror scope, so it produces an image that fills your visual field when you look through the eyepiece.
