This vase is by Buzz Blodgett. It is a spiral of colored rods of glass embedded in soft clear pink and pale amber colored body. The base is thick clear glass, the walls thin out toward the neck so the vase is very well balanced and stable. The uplifting design and the warm colors make it a memorable piece of art glass.

Buzz has been making art glass in his studio in Southern California since 1969 (when he joined his father in the business that he now runs on his own) and we're sure you will appreciate his glassmaking abilities even more once you see this vase in person.

The base has been ground flat, polished, and signed: "Buzz Blodgett 2004".
